DIGikat – Our Social Fabric
DIGikat—Our Social Fabric is a vibrant celebration of 60 years of Singapore’s multi-racial harmony. This innovative installation fuses traditional ikat weaving with cutting-edge digital art to create a rich, immersive experience that mirrors the nation’s diverse social fabric and collective identity. This installation hopes to foster a deeper understanding of our social fabric through art.
The Arts House will also be partnering with highly sought-after private home dining chef and seasoned arts manager Patricia Chen from Sekel Kitchen (@sekel_kitchen), as well as the talented former Nouri head chef Russell Nathan with his friends from Bricolage. (@bricolage.sg) Together, we invite you to experience special menus that draw inspiration from Derong’s DIGikat—a multi-sensory, tactile and gastronomical art experience not to be missed.
Dinner details and reservations can be found at @sekel_kitchen (dinner dates are scheduled for 14–16 and 24–26 January) and @bricolage.sg (dinner dates are scheduled for 17–23 January).
