Set against our historic monuments and coinciding with the commemoration of the 60th year of Singapore’s independence, this extraordinary installation welcomes you to witness this momentous journey.

Liu Bolin is a Beijing-based contemporary artist known for his unique self-portraits that explore the paradox of presence and absence. Using meticulous hand-painted camouflage, he vanishes into the backgrounds of his images, challenging us to question our relationship with the visible world.
