Together with our Resonates With Residency artists and local musicians, these artists explore identity, culture and soundscapes, as well as offer fresh perspectives on how we can connect with art in its many forms!
BGourd is a boom bap rapper who has organically grown in Singaporean soil. Through his music, BGourd hopes to create a body of work that simultaneously embraces and communicates the ethos of life in Singapore. BGourd displays refreshing versatility experimenting with range and delivery as he whips up his signature blend of free-flowing rhymes. The bodysuit he performs in is at once a tribute to the mighty bitter gourd and a reference to the green screen, symbolising his ability to take on any style on the fly.
