SYNOPSIS
This tour of the national monuments in the Civic District reveals interesting stories behind these colonial buildings. Discover the many historical events and personalities linked to the grand classical buildings around National Gallery Singapore.
Through the eyes of a Gallery guide who also guides for Preservation of Sites and Monuments, learn why the buildings were located there,the significance of various architectural features how important events in Singapore’s history are linked to these buildings and to the paintings within the Gallery.
